This formula is the result of numerous years of research and observations. Although successful, some people complained it required too many pills daily and the cost was approximately $300 monthly for dosage one per day. A concentrated vitamin mix has since been developed, it is one-third the cost and is a powdered drink formula as an alternative to swallowing pills. This article is not intended to market anything, therefore nothing regarding that will be written here, you can purchase any quality brand vitamin at any store. Our goal is to educate the reader of the solution to the problem.

Calcium

Calcium is arguably the most important nutrient in your body. As the most abundant mineral it has several important functions. A few of these calcium functions are muscle contraction, blood vessel contraction and expansion, the secretion of hormones and enzymes, and sending messages through the nervous system. The amount of calcium in your body fluid and tissues is closely regulated so that these vital body processes function efficiently.

The nutritional requirements contributing to healthy bone has expanded to include other critical nutrients beyond just calcium and Vitamin D. They include Vitamin K2, Strontium, and Trace Minerals. They have been revealed to play an important role in increasing bone mineral density, even among post-menopausal women because these other vital nutrients must also be included to stimulate bone growth.

Calcium is used to create the correct electronic atmosphere for the autonomic nervous system to send information to all the body system and organs. Your brain sends the information telling your heart how to beat, your liver how to detox, your intestinal muscles to push food through and out your bowels. If the communication “wire” (your nerves) are inhibited by spinal sublixations, then your health may be compromised.

Think of your nerves as the internet connection to your home computer. Do you want high speed internet connection (and thus high speed information flow, or “healing information” flow), or you do you want slow, dial-up connection, where there is a delay and slower response time with all the programs open on your desktop.

Calcium is the number one nutrient to support the nerve flow. The insulation, or myelin shyeath, is coating the electrical wires for protection. Alcohol dissolves this lipid layer and thus inhibits communication, and thus, compromises cognitive function. Omega fatty acids are what make up the fatty coating layer of the nerves.

A very wide range of health benefits have been reported including amazing bone health, joint health, pain reduction, circulatory system benefits, and increased energy.

Different forms of calcium have different functions in the body, so it is good to get trace amounts from many sources.

Most forms of calcium have limited solubility:

Calcium Carbonate = 23% Absorption, 38% Elemental Value
Coral Calcium
= 23% Absorption, 38% Elemental Value
Calcium Hydroxyapatite = 17% Absorption, 17% Elemental Value
Calcium Citrate
= 25% Absorption, 20% Elemental Value
Calcium Bis-Glycinate = 44% Absorption, 21% Elemental Value
Calcium from Whole Food Algae = 75% Absorption, 31% Elemental Value

Magnesium

Magnesium is involved in more than 300 essential metabolic reactions within the body. The adult human body contains about 25 grams of magnesium. Over 60% of all the magnesium in the body is found in the skeleton, about 27% is found in muscle, 6% to 7% is found in other cells, and less than 1% is found outside of cells.

Magnesium plays important roles in the structure and the function of the human body. The metabolism of carbohydrates and fats to produce energy requires numerous magnesium-dependent chemical reactions. Like being required by adenosine troposphere (ATP), the molecule that provides energy for almost all metabolic processes in the body.

Magnesium plays a structural role in bone, cell membranes and chromosomes. It is required for the active transport of potassium and calcium across cell membranes. Through its role in ion transport systems, magnesium affects the conduction of nerve impulses, muscle contraction, and normal heart rhythm.

Chromium Picolinate

Chromium is an essential trace mineral required for normal protein, fat and carbohydrate metabolism. Research has shown that the typical American diet is low in chromium, thus the American diet as contributor to numerous ailments. Chromium supplements aid by stimulating the ability to improve insulin production which increases the body’s ability to control blood sugar and lower cholesterol.

Chromium has shown to help restore normal thyroid function, found mostly in the outer portion of grain. Because chromium is lost during the refining process of grain products, the US population is a chromium deficient nation due to over indulgence in these refined grain products.

Cod Liver Oil

Cod liver oil is very good for you, more than you ever knew. Research studies ranging from 1918-2001 give cod liver oil an A+ rating. This marvelous golden oil contains large amounts of elongated omega-3 fatty acids, preformed vitamin A and the sunlight vitamin D, and other essential nutrients that are hard to obtain in sufficient amounts in the modern diet like the important bone and blood maintainer vitamin K.

There is hardly a disease in the books that does not respond well to treatment that includes cod liver oil, and not just infectious diseases but also chronic modern diseases like heart disease and cancer. The fatty acids in cod liver oil are also very important for the development of the brain and nervous system. If you want to prevent learning disabilities in your children it is a good habit to feed them cod liver oil.

Many of the conditions addressed by cod liver oil are considered related under the title Syndrome X. These include obesity, hypertension, insulin resistance, adult onset diabetes, heart disease and stroke. We may be paying a very high price for our rejection of parental wisdom to take our cod liver oil.

In numerous studies, the elongated omega-3 fats found in cod liver oil have been shown to improve brain function, memory, stress response, immune response, allergies, asthma, learning and behavioral disorders, including bipolar syndrome and manic-depression.

Cod liver oil is most famous for contributing to bone health, preventing and reversing rickets in children and osteomalacia in adults. Osteoporosis responds to cod liver oil. Sufficient elongated omega-3 oils found in cod liver oil are one of the keys to keeping and rebuilding bone.

Cod liver oil taken orally helps maintain soft skin and minimize wrinkles. It is effective in treating arthritis as well. Researchers funded by Great Britain’s Arthritis Research Campaign found that the elongated omega-3 fatty acids in cod liver oil reduce both pain and damage in inflamed joints.

Hydrolyzed Collagen/Gelatin

Gelatin is a vitreous, brittle solid that is faintly yellow to white and nearly tasteless and odorless. It contains 84-90% protein, 1-2% mineral salts and 8-15% water.

Classic experiments demonstrate however that, with the addition of gelatin, the biological value of mixtures can be increased. Therefore, gelatin can complete and increase the amino acid composition of other protein sources.

Gelatin also appears to be beneficial to athletes for muscle growth and metabolism, as it contains lysine, which is important for muscle growth and arginine a precursor of creatine, an amino acid important for the energy metabolism of muscle cells.

Milk Thistle

Milk Thistle is the most dramatic of the herbs as it protects and rejuvenates the liver in numerous ways: Like any bioflavonoid complex, it exerts a powerful anti-oxidant effect.

It maintains the ability to protect the liver by interrupting entero-hepatic recirculation of toxins. The silymarin complex puts up an amazing protective “shield” against liver-harming substances like alcohol and other would-be poisons. It regenerates your liver, which is the only organ in your body capable of regeneration. The silymarin complex actually helps the liver to synthesize new proteins and ultimately regenerate!

Shark Cartilage

Because shark cartilage contains a large amount of calcium it can be a beneficial supplement to anyone. Bodybuilders , in particular, have shown an interest in shark cartilage in recent years due to the supposed positive effect on healing damaged cartilage. The active component of shark cartilage responsible for this regeneration of connective tissue is glucosamine.

Some glycosaminoglycans in cartilage reportedly have anti-inflammatory and immune system-stimulating properties, and it has been suggested that either they or some of their breakdown products are toxic to tumor cells. Thus, the anti-tumor potential of cartilage may involve more than one mechanism of action.Interest in shark cartilage increased after a television news magazine aired a segment in 1993 that showed a study of patients with advanced cancer in Cuba who had gone into remission after being treated with shark cartilage.

Vitamin E Natural Vit. E d-alpha tocopherol succinate

Vitamin E, known as tocopherol, an alcohol, is expressed in International Units (IU). It is a fat-soluble vitamin, and it is an essential element of human nutrition. Many of the actions are related to its antioxidant properties, it protects cellular constituents from oxidation and prevents the formation of toxic oxidation products, preserves red blood cell wall integrity and against hemolysis, and is involved as a cofactor in enzyme systems. It enhances vitamin A utilization and suppression of platelet aggregation.

It prevents oxidation of vitamin A and unsaturated fatty acids. There is evidence that it functions as a cofactor in oxidative phosphoralization reactions, and believed to protect lung tissues from damage by oxidants in polluted air.

There is no single storage organ, however, liver, muscle and adipose tissue account for most of the body’s tocopherol. Low levels have been noted in protein-calorie malnourished infants, malabsorption syndromes, celiac disease, and similar. Low levels cause the erythrocytes to become more susceptible to destruction by oxidants, also resulting in hemolysis, and spino-cerebellar syndromes.

Zinc (Chelate)

In human nutrition, Zinc is among the most important of the trace elements. Zinc plays an important role and is vital in the immune system, expression of genes and the transfer of signals in the nervous system. Research continues to determine the critical nature of zinc interaction with T cells in the development of defense against potential pathogens and how nutrients affect immune response, indicating that zinc is essential for human immune function.

Zinc from amino acid chelate is best.

Selenium

One of the most effective naturally occurring weapons against cancer is, like most healthy things, something many of us are not getting enough of. The mineral selenium has been shown in multiple studies to be an effective tool in warding off various types of cancer, including breast, esophageal, stomach, prostate, liver and bladder cancers. Not many people get the recommended dose of 200 micrograms a day. Most Americans only get between 60 and 100 micrograms of selenium daily from dietary sources, according to the Life Extension Foundation’s Disease Prevention and Treatment. That means daily supplements might be worth considering.

Selenium was first used in conventional medicine as a treatment for dandruff, but our understanding of the mineral has come a long way since then. Today, research shows selenium, especially when used in conjunction with vitamin C, vitamin E and beta-carotene, works to block chemical reactions that create free radicals in the body (which can damage DNA and cause degenerative change in cells, leading to cancer).

Selenium also helps stop damaged DNA molecules from reproducing. In other words, selenium acts to prevent tumors from developing. “It contributes towards the death of cancerous and pre-cancer cells. Their death appears to occur before they replicate, thus helping stop cancer before it gets started,” says Dr. James Howenstine in A Physician’s Guide to Natural Health Products That Work.

Selenium makes chemotherapy safer, more effective
In addition to preventing the onset of the disease, selenium has also been shown to aid in slowing cancer’s progression in patients that already have it. According to the Life Extension Foundation, the use of selenium during chemotherapy in combination with vitamin A and vitamin E can reduce the toxicity of chemotherapy drugs. The mineral also helps “enhance the effectiveness of chemo, radiation, and hyperthermia while minimizing damage to the patient’s normal cells; thus making therapy more of a ‘selective toxin,’” says Patrick Quillin in Beating Cancer with Nutrition.

A 1996 study by Dr. Larry Clark of the University of Arizona showed just how effective selenium can be in protecting against cancer. In the study of 1,300 older people, the occurrence of cancer among those who took 200 micrograms of selenium daily for about seven years was reduced by 42 percent compared to those given a placebo. Cancer deaths for those taking the selenium were cut almost in half, according to the study that was published in the Journal of the American Medical Association.

While the study concluded the mineral helped protect against all types of cancer, it had particularly powerful impacts on prostate, colorectal and lung cancers. Jean Carper, in Miracle Cures, called Dr. Clark’s findings an “unprecedented cancer intervention study” that “bumped up the respectability of using supplements against cancer several notches.”

Colstrum

Colostrum helps to achieve homeostasis and balance in all the metabolic functions of the body.
About 20 years ago, colostrum became the hot, new nutrient in the marketplace. Colostrum contains pre-formed antibodies. Ideally, it is best to use colostrum from cows living in an environment common to both the cows and humans, i.e. both exposed to the same set of pathogens. North American cows have been exposed to West Nile Virus, for example, and have, therefore, developed antibodies for this pathogen.

Colostrum is great for all ages. 2200 components make up colostrum. Oral delivery of colostrum is critical and is what is used in all of the supportive scientific studies. There are many anti-aging benefits. For example, colostrum raises your own insulin-like growth factor (IGF-1) in the body. IGF-1 then goes to other hormone resources and gets to work. Therefore you don’t have to look at external sources of animal forms that help produce IGF-1. Colostrum helps recovery from injury. Also, it raises proline-rich polypeptides (PRP). This is vital for all organ tissue, e.g. your skin.

Colostrum has naturally occurring bone and cartilage growth factors that will increase your utilization of minerals and n-acetyl glucosamine. If you’re not taking some every day, you’re missing many benefits. Colostrum does things for compromised immune systems that immune drugs can’t do.

Colostrum Contains:

1) Antibodies & immunoglobulins that neutralize toxins/fight viruses and bacteria
2) Lactoferrin – an antiviral, anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory. Shown to be effective against cancer, HIV, herpes, chronic fatigue syndrome, Candida albicans and other infections.
3) Proline-rich polypeptide that help the body produce T-Cells, stimulates weak immune systems and balance over active immune systems.
4) Leukocytes white blood cells that slow viral reproduction and inhibits viruses from penetrating cellular walls
5) Xanthine Oxidase – oxidises bacteria through their ability to release hydrogen peroxide
6) Lysozome – hydrolyzing agent and immune system booster capable of destroying bacteria and viruses on contact
7) Lacto-oligosaccharides – promote growth of good bacteria in the intestine function, and immune function
8) Glycoproteins/Tyrpsin Inhibitors – Good protective maintenance of ulcers
9) Oligo Polysaccharides and glycoconjugates – bind to pathogens and toxins and prevent them from entering intestinal membranes
10) Plus dozens of other Immune Factors, Growth Factors, Anti-Aging benfefits and more.

L-Glycine

L-Glycine is an amino acid used by the body to build proteins. L-Glycine promotes health of the thymus gland, spleen, and bone marrow and balance white cell production. L-Glycine slows down muscle degeneration by supplying additional creatine, which is a compound that is present in muscle tissue. It is utilized in the construction of DNA and RHA. L-Glycine is essential for the synthesis of nucleic acids, bile acids and other nonessential amino acids in the body. It has been used in the treatment of manic depression and is also effective in the treatment of hyperactivity.

Lecithin

Lecithin is a fat like substance called a phospholipid. It is needed by every cell in the body and is a key building block of cell membranes; without it, they would harden. Lecithin protects cells from oxidation and largely comprises the protective sheaths surrounding the brain. It is composed mostly of B vitamins, phosphoric acid, choline, linoleic acid and inositol. Although it is a fatty substance, it is also a fat emulsifier. Hence, it supports the circulatory system. Its choline is useful for making acetylcholine.

74 Trace Elements

Our body requires trace amounts of numerous elements, many are minerals others are metals.

If we do not have enough copper, our bodies ability to utilize Iron is compromised, for example.
